    125500 - Adult Skating Clinic

    This class, designed especially for adult figure skaters, will feature an edge class including basic dance combinations, rhythmic steps to music, figures, jumps and spins, good music and lots of fun!
    Skaters not able to commit to all classes may purchase punch cards at the rate of $125 for 5 classes or may pay the walk-on fee of $30 per class.

    125901 - Continuing in ASL

    Continuing In ASL: ASL students who have taken at least ASL 3 from Burlington Parks Recreation & Waterfront skilled classes and ASL 2 through 3 college credited classes. This class is for students who have have been learning ASL for a long time and continue to learn more ASL. Students will be learning vocabulary signs and sign sentences. Students also will practice in ASL conversations with sign idioms, loan signs and other signing tools. More discussions on Deaf Culture. Class will also be flexible in regards to what students want to learn and to enhance their ASL skills.

    Japanese Shotokan Karate-do is a dynamic wellness activity geared to develop physical, spiritual and mental balance and provide lots of fun. Our program is designed to develop the foundations of Karate training and provide a safe and fun environment for you to explore your personal mind and body limits. Beginners and advanced students are welcome. Taught by Jairo Blanco, Head Instructor for the Japan Karate Association of Vermont and assistant instructor Marcia Blanco. Participants are required to purchase a uniform.

    125910 - Womens Self Defense Level 3

    Level III reviews the strikes learned in Level I and Level II as well as the self-defense skills, techniques and strategies learned previously. In addition, students are given the opportunity to practice scenarios against members of The Safety Team or a padded male attacker, whichever may be more comfortable.     425901 - Ethiopian Cooking

    Each class of the four-part series will feature a meat and vegetable dish to be prepared and served with injera bread. Injera bread is an East African sourdough flatbread with a unique slightly spongy texture. The bread is a staple food in Ethiopia and Eritrea, where it is served with almost every meal. The last class in June will feature two vegetarian dishes and how to make injera bread. You may sign up for all four classes or individual classes! Instructor: Mulu Tewelde prepares Ethiopian/Eritrean meals for the community in and around Burlington.
